After childbirth mothers often have a level of incontinence.
Pelvic floor exercises may remedy the problem but sometimes a little assistance can be helpful.
The MamaSure Pelvic Floor Exerciser uses medically recognised electrotherapy programmes to enable the pelvic floor muscle to improve its strength and endurance.
The MamaSure Pelvic Floor Exerciser is supplied with complete instructions and is easy to use.
The MamaSure Pelvic Floor Exerciser is NOT to be used within the first twelve weeks after the birth.
The birth of a child can affect and weaken a mother's pelvic floor muscle. This can cause continence problems which the MamaSure Pelvic Floor Exerciser (Ultima EMS model) can rectify.
Twelve weeks after having had a baby if incontinence problems have not been resolved by simple pelvic floor exercises, the use of the MamaSure Pelvic Floor Exerciser is recommended.
What is Incontinence?
There are three forms of incontinence: Stress, Urge, and Mixed.
- Stress Incontinence describes the involuntary leakage of urine when a person coughs, sneezes, strains or makes sudden movements.
- Urge Incontinence describes an overactive bladder. A person experiences a strong and sudden urge to go to the toilet but is not always able to hold on.
- Mixed Incontinence is a combination of both Stress and Urge Incontinence.
